What Allstate typically covers
Sudden water damage — burst pipes, appliance failures, water heater bursts: yes (standard HO-3).
Sump pump backups — only with the water/sewer backup endorsement. Without it, excluded.
Mold — typically capped at $5,000-$10,000 for mold caused by a covered loss. Mold from long-term moisture is excluded.
